:O this was really great chapter, can't wait for more
Finally caught up on 3 years of missed One Piece... 150 eps, chapters, and about 100 pages of comments from this thread. It has been a good week.
Just gonna toss this out there for anyone who's interested. But it looks like there's a low (not shaky cam bad) quality version of the latest One Piece movie floating around. It's dubbed in Korean too as opposed to Japanese. So if anyone is really eager to watch it it's out there for you lol. A HQ version in Japanese probably won't be out till like March or April if I had to guess
Spoilers out for the chapter this week:

"No chapter next week"
Well fuck you too, buddy
As long as he doesn't die before the series is finished +_+. He did survive 2016 so there's reason to be optimistic
Is his health really that bad?
Basically for the 19~odd years he's been doing One Piece, he's been on a schedule where he works 7 days a week from 5AM to 2AM, sleeping only 3 hours a night. So yeah, that's fucked him up pretty good right there. He puts in so much work into the manga that his daughters have to come to his working studio and sleep over just to see him.
He was hospitalized a couple years ago for having tonsil issues that he ultimately needed surgery for. Supposedly he's tired all the time (well.. duh) but the tonsil issue was also adding to that. And since then Jump has been forcing him to take a break once every 3 to 4 weeks. Still though, he puts in so much planning into the manga and is now involved in the movies and etc etc that the breaks are probably anything but a break. He's pretty much openly stated that he's basically working and dying for One Piece.
Here's an article from a fan site from October that gives a bit more detail.

I mean, One Piece is easily the best manga from Jump in decades. And the reason why is because of how much of his life he's constantly investing into it. If you watched Bakuman, the ridiculously dedicated and overly invested in manga character of Niizuma Eiji is more or less a nod to Oda.

Is there a place that has the translated manga up?
