That was my favorite image from there, which they said he drew years before he was even in the manga industry, and he had all of East blue mapped and how to get into the "Gland Line"

apparently oda put together the supernovas in under 3 hours and threw them into S.A. cause it wasn't epic enough on its own

I figured the supernova were a last minute thing, they didn't really seem to fit in as seamlessly as the other characters do into the story. Very good for just 3 hours though.

Can't we just make a spoiler free rule for 2 weeks? I love spoilers, but I refuse to look at these when they surface.

While true, the whole show/manga is about the age of piracy, and there didn't really seem to be any peers for luffy. Just random jerkoffs.

Chapter is usually 18~19 so 24 isn't unreasonable.

Full translation for the voice actors interview from last week, it is mostly just wild speculation, but rather funny.

THE WORLD IN TWO YEARS!! (First part)
The anime seiyuu give their audacious predictions of the story two years in the future! At the time they meet again, the nakama will be like this?!

WJ: Today we wanted to start getting all your thoughts on what you're anticipating for the new chapters. Please let us hear your thoughts!

Tanaka: At last! The story of two years later will begin!

Yamaguchi: It's something to look forward to! But I think Nami-san's going to have it terribly rough now.

Okamura: Eh? You mean money trouble?

Yamaguchi: No! *laughs* I mean that in this Shinsekai it's said that there is lightning falling like rain from the sky, and that there's a series unbelievable weathers, so it's got to be terribly rough for the navigator.

Okamura: Oh, so that's what you meant.

Hirata: But we'll leave the money trouble to you, too!

Okamura: I'll do my best with that, too!

WJ: Well then, ladies and gentlemen, what kind of power ups do you think that the scattered crew will come back with, and what kind of things will they get up to in Shinsekai? Let's start with Luffy.

Yamaguchi: Well, he must definitely learn how to use Haki.

Tanaka: When he's learned how to use it, it seems like he'll be strong enough that he won't even lose to the champions ahead.

Ohtani: And once he goes to Shinsekai, he'll be able to meet Shanks again, too. What do you think will happen to the hat then?

Okamura: Because he's promised he'll come and give it back!

Ohkamura: Once he gives the hat back, he won't be Strawhat Luffy anymore. So maybe Shanks will say "I'll give you this in exchange", and he'll receive another hat?

Cho: No, no, it'll definitely be something like "This is yours now", and Shanks will give it to him as a present, don't you think?

Tanaka: Oh! I see. That's much cooler!

Yamaguchi: I'm really looking forward to Kaidou and the other Yonkou making an appearance!

Ohtani: It seems like the Yonkou are really strong, so there's this feeling of will we or won't we win...

Okamura: Since we've been training for two whole years, we've become able to fight them. I'm sure!

Tanaka: Seeing how the other nakama beside Luffy will have changed is something else to look forward to, right? For example Robin and such.

Yamaguchi: Right now she's together with the Revolutionaries, right?

Hirata: Maybe something has happened over there?

Cho: She got married to Dragon and became Luffy's mom...?

Yamaguchi: Destiny is changing! *laughs*

Tanaka: Dragon's going to tell her, "Say that you want to marry me!"

Yamaguchi: And then she's going to screw up her face and reply, crying, "I want to marry you!!" *laughs*

Ohtani: Looking at her age, she's an adult, so getting married wouldn't be strange.

Hirata: Of course, she's at the time of your life when you want to get married.

Cho: Hmmm. So, now One Piece's theme will be one of family love! It seems that you aren't calling your new stepmother "Mom" very much...

Yamaguchi: "The New World begins when you call her "Mom"!

Tanaka: As you wish! MOOOOOM! *laughs out loud*

Okamura: Well, the Revolutionaries did say that "Dragon always wanted to meet you" [Translation note: In a romantic context, this would be "Dragon's missed you all this time"...].

Tanaka: She was always running from his courtship, but now she's finally accepted his feelings!

Hirata: There's no way that's what's going on! This is just wrong!!

Yamaguchi: We have no way of finding out if this speculation is right... *laughs* Next must be Nami.

Okamura! Right!

Yamaguchi: Nami-san is already strong. She could become the pirate king.

Okamura: Right (definitely). Nah, I think she'll become even stronger, but she's got trouble with hand-to-hand combat, so I think she'll support the others by making clouds and stuff from the back.

Hirata: Hey, are you trying to just get yourself to safety? *laughs*

Okamura: I didn't mean it that way...

Tanaka: But the balance of her bank account might increase.

Cho: She might become someone who could do anything with the power of money...!

Yamaguchi: Talking on a denden-mushi all the time, saying stuff like "Sell it, sell!"

Cho: She's into the stock market!

Okamura: No! Well, I guess it's protecting everyone from the back.

Tanaka: What about Usopp?

Yamaguchi: He has to slim down before he can get a power-up. I've played him as fat once in the anime, but I wouldn't be able to keep that up...

Ootani: But there is no fat character in the group yet.

Yamaguchi: Eh!? Am I going to be responsible for the fatty character? What are you talking about, the one who moves around the least is Robin, so it should be her!

The women: Eeeeeh? Booooo!!

Yamaguchi: I guess not, then...

Hirata: But I think Yuriko (*) could do it without changing her voice. She'd say stuff like "Oh, you're a bad person."

Yamaguchi: If I'm going to say something serious about Usopp, I think he might use the power of the pop green to make more techniques that can be used for defense. But what I'm the most worried about is that if Usopp brings Heraklesun along, Luffy might ask him to become nakama!

Tanaka: Ah! Now that you mention it, he loves beetles!

Yamaguchi: If he sees him, he totally sparkle with his eyes and tell him "Be my nakama!"

Okamura: He really does like weird guys.

Tanaka: If he finds him, he'll definitely invite him.

WJ: I'm sorry, but the pages for this week are at an end. You can read the continuation next week.

(*) Yuriko = Yamaguchi Yuriko, who plays Nico Robin's part. She's the stupidest character in the entire mugiwara seiyuu team. Unfortunately, she couldn't be on the discussion meeting this time.

I think he just means that The New World is the "end" in the same way East Blue was the "beginning" and wouldn't take away much more of an assumption beyond that.

Tough I think majority of the arcs moving forward will focus toward the ultimate end of the series as apposed to being self-contained adventures/character focused drama (ex former Skypiea, ex latter Enies Lobby) which is what has progressively been happening in the series anyways.

Yeah, there is a recent SBS in which Oda says the current plot is(was) in the 2/3 of the full story.
