Cemetery's cherry.

OK, i know that cemetery cherry can be duo'd easy by a nin and whm, but i was curious if a NIN/WHM could solo it. I have pretty good gear, capped eva merits and proper meds. So the question is, can it actually be done? Has anyone ever soloed Cemetery Cherry on NIN? Thanks for for your advice in advance. ^^

PS: if i died and it depopped would i be waiting 60-72hrs for repop or do the saplings respawn in 30min? i wasn't sure about this.

Not sure how the repop works though.

If Cemetery Cherry despawns without being killed the Cherry Saplings will respawn 30min-60min later.

the only thing thats hard about cherry is his poison, and hate reset move if your duoing. i duoed it with a level 48 rdm before as nin/war, nin/dnc can solo it for sure. Is it worth it though? no drop rate to shitty imo

I watched the vid ages ago, Healing Waltz might be used but I can't remember, either way the entire fight is there for anyone who doubts it.

Can be soloed easily nin/dnc, might wanna bring antidotes to be safe.

I'd mainhand a Dagger and use Energy Drain (or Steal, I forget which is better) if you're going to /WHM. Assuming CC isn't crazy resistant to dark elemental stuff it should work pretty well and save you some meds.

/DNC definitely looks better though.

You can't get interrupted with Healing Waltz though.

It would be pretty difficult to have something as fast-casting as Paralyna interrupted, I would imagine. If you're soloing something like Cherry as NIN I'd like to think your cast timing is good enough to avoid that happening. But regardless, /DNC all the way.

My DNC is only 6 lol. Thanks paul for reminding me about using daggers. I think ill have a go at cherry tonight if hes up.

Trio'd this thing with a BLM and a SMN.

It has horrible accuracy. My NIN has 305 eva skill, and I'm still missing a few pieces of equipment, and about 20~ish evasion from gear. With Kura, it hardly hit me. The most threatening moves it has are sleepga and pinecone bomb. IIRC, Pinecone Bomb is an AoE that takes off your shadows and does about 400~600 damage. I'd say /DNC stands a good chance @ a solo, since you have Healing Waltz (as previously mentioned) and you get Evasion Bonus as a plus.
