Didn't see any threads on this show. Has anyone watched it?

what a fucking slut lol
oh my god, that was like, the greatest thing I have ever seen on youtube.
that recap was nice, because in the real show (I only watched the first episode) is like:
Question: blahblahblahblah
Commercial break
Back from commercial break
Wait 5 minutes
Your answer is...
...
...
...
...
...
true!
Commercial break!
etc
yea, hate the show and how long they take to just give the damn answers.
Ho got what she deserved.
I can't believe she honestly thinks she's a "good person".
I would roll through that game so fast it would be unbelievable. I'm brutally honest with my finacee. That dude right there, I hope he goes strait to a divorce lawyer when he leaves.
thats why they dont take contenstants like you and me on the show. they take the people that have something to hide.
What an idiot lol
How do you screen for a game like that?
It's not like Jeopardy or Who Wants to be a Millionare, where you screen for high levels of intelligence.
It's not like Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, where you screen for mediocre levels of intelligence.
It's not like Hollywood Squares or Wheel of Fortune where you screen for mildly charismatic people who can follow directions quickly.
And it's not like Don't Forget the Lyrics or similar shows where you are screen for talent.
How do you screen for a show where you are basically strapped to a lie detector with your closest friends/family around you and you admit dirty secrets about your past?
It's almost like they took the people who wanted to go to Jerry Springer or Judge Judy, but weren't ugly and stupid enough to be considered typical of those shows, and prettied them up for The Moment of Truth.
How can a machine decide how you feel about yourself?
"Are you a good person?" is too vague for a lie detector question
it looks scripted but it's all fun in the end haha
Lie detectors aren't quite reliable anyway.
what is this shit kill myself tv is a joke 187 ride or die
Oh Fox, is there any low to which you will not stoop?
But really, I looked at her and looked at her husband and knew she cheated on him, she is way out of his price range. If they have kids, they are not his. Always remember, if you have a Honda Civic budget and a Lamborghini wants you to hop in for a ride, that Lamborghini has a Porsche baby in the trunk that she wants you to take care of.
Anyone would want to go on that show is scummy enough to have shit that they are hiding. Plus they most likely investigate people and dig up as much scandalous shit as possible, and only pick the creame de le trash.Originally Posted by Acturus
That was rigged (or the whole thing was fake) because she was genuinely surprised when she heard the result. She seems like the kind of person who believes that everything she has done was justified and has never harmed anyone ever in her life.Originally Posted by HAcoreRD
any yes/no question is fine for a lie detector. All it's detecting are variations in your bodies chemistry, heartbeat/pulse that show you're not giving a straightforward answer or have a different body chemistry than when you answered another truthful question.Originally Posted by HAcoreRD
that said, I think polygraphs are a sham and easily beatable, and easily give false positives.
i watched the first episode and it's just to damn slow and the whole setup of the show suck. There's MUCH better stuff on TV at the same time slot.
No, they aren't at all.Originally Posted by Remy0
They can be fooled by anyone who can willingly maintain level heartbeats, breathing rhythm, and body temperature. Of course, your average citizen doesn't teach themselves how to do these things, so it makes for great television.
One of the oldest ways to "fool" a lie detector was to keep a thumbtack in your sock and step on it when they begin to ask you questions. Unless you're completely resistant to that kind of pain, you can get the detector to come back with inconclusive readings. Just because you say "four" when they ask what 2 + 2 is doesn't mean the detector can't indicate that you're lying based on an increased heartbeat and whatnot.
I'm curious to know how many "contestents" they had to throw out because the television spotlight/audience made them too nervous to get accurate readings.
They don't get the readings during the show, they have the contestants take a lie detector test beforehand with a bunch of questions and get the results, and then the show picks out which questions to ask them during the show. Then they compare the answers vs the lie detector test results beforehand.Originally Posted by Acturus
What was the question/answer?
At work so I cant look at youtube. ; ;
