lol well i was wondering if anyone out there that's done ALOT of 35 farming has seen a difference with TH ^^;

I have a pretty reliable THF that can always make our weekend runs, but Wednesday isn't 100% for him. Which is fine, we just won't do Zhayolm or Arrapago. My question was, I could go level 35 farming in SSR and Bhaflua and I wouldn't be wasting our time would I?

IMO doing any salvage area without a THF = waste of AP.

All with TH3 and 4. I don't dare do Salvage without it. To answer your question more directly, no, you're not wasting your time farming Salvage without a THF, but it sure does help. Not necessarily because the 35 drop rates will just outright suck without a THF, but because you can get completely fucked over by cells, which in turn can ruin the entire run and make you waste AP.

yeah i know on zhayolm and arrapago a thf is mandatory i was just wondering if i could get away with silver sea remnants with no thf since there's so many set number of cells for mobs and its not hard to gear up.

SSR has the worst drop rates for 35s, you'd want a THF there too.

And the 4rth cell in SSR is affected by treasure hunter, nice to have extra pieces early. When salvage came out, we did a Bhaflau run without a thief. One single drop of weapon among all mobs capable of droping, wiped on the first wamoora ( didn't have monks either, just pup as H2H lol).

The more NMs a zone has, the less likely it is you'll see a Lv35.

TH4 every single run for the last 6 months, at least 40 silver seas runs (between 40-45), and zero drops total from this zone.

My Usukane Somen is from a few runs I went on with some JPs. :/

The only zone I wouldn't do without a THF is Arra. I have see too many drops with no THF to pretend that just because I cant find a THF I would be wasting my time to go into salvage. That is just wrong. That said, it has been a very very long time since i did salvage with no THF. But that is simply because I know enough good THFs that its not an issue, not because the world will stop turning if you dont have one. If you are in arra without a THF the world *will* stop turning, and zhay with no thf makes me nervous).

I believe a THF was present for our morg leg drop in SSR, but out of 60 SSR runs, it was the small fraction where a THF was not present that the 2 usu head and usu body dropped. So, i wouldn't just avoid salvage altogether if you have no THF that day.

And speaking of superstition, anyone know which direction the person who has hate on Hammerblow or Citadel should face when they make the kill to increase drop rate. I'm also open to moon phase suggestions and if we should all be eating lucky eggs or 4 leaf mandragora buds ;/
