Scholar's Mortarboard turns the 2hp/mp per tick effect of Sublimation into a 3hp/mp per tick effect. You do not have to keep it equipped for the duration of Sublimation, equipping it for the use of the JA is sufficient.

I just lost the bc trying to solo it. It's pretty hard as he has alot of HP and will randomly cure 4 himself. About to go in when I get booted out of BC with some more people.

1 Enemy, but he a ton of either MDEF or HP. I couldn't tell because I was healing. (I was Ali's other SCH)

OK, how do I start the BC? I got the letter from Pash-S, when back to the quest starter, and now when I click the markings, I get "No Response".

The remaining 3 pieces of AF come from Loussaire in Bastok [S] (G-10). Purchased a la TAU AF.

Body requires:

Never heard of any of these items before, and the dialogue makes me believe these are quested items, and not AHable.

Sch AF1 : Klimaform

> Start: Erlene
> Erlene asks you to search for Prof. Schultz and Elbrecht gives you a letter to deliver to Schultz. Go to E-11 Pashow Marshlands (S) as Scholar and click on Indescript Markings. Return to Erlene for reward.

AF2: Scholar's Bracers

> Start: Erlene
> Some Scholars have been going missing Erlene wants you to go in her place to a meeting in S Sandy (S).
> Zone into S Sandy (S) for a Cutscene with Ulbrecht.
> Go back to Erlene and speak with her.
> Go to J-7 Sauromogue Champaign as Scholar. In the logs near a ???, click them and Indescript Markings should appear (not sure about this, maybe has to do with weather or just a timer to spawn?) you will get key item after a cutscene with Ulbrecht.
> Return to Erlene for your reward.

AF3: Scholar's Mortarboard

> Start Erlene
> Go back to Pashow Marshlands (S) E-11 for a key item.
> Return to Erlene
> Zone out of the eldiemme necropolis (S) and then go back and speak with Erlene for a cutscene.
> Go to grauberg (S) E-10 and touch the ??? for a cutscene.
> Prepare yourself for BC fight and touch the Indescript Markings.
Ulbrecht: Very High HP. BC is over after he is at 1/10th HP. Attacks fairly quickly with dagger. Hits Cocoon 75 BLU for 30~40, 50~80 without. Uses various Scholar abilities and adds them to the tier III spells he casts, also can cast Sleep/Sleepga. Occasionally casts Cure IV on himself for 2% HP recovery. He takes a lot of dmg but due to HP it doesn't seem like much. He can be kited around the area but there are dead ends so be careful. His spells sometimes have Aga efect but will register on screen as normal tier III.

I have a strong feeling, the names of the items means you farm the mobs for em Looks like my thf is getting a workout tonight, hopefully I can go 5/5 on AF before I zzz tonight! Oh and I hope it's not like BLU with JP midnight.

Working on that now. Edited original post that they seem to be quested. I'm running around Pashhow looking for anything "out of the ordinary." Either that, or they're farmed.

Ah, the items needed for the next pieces are actually KEY ITEMS.

Im headed to passhow [S] now. I believe this is what the other targets things were for... i checked one in passhow that said you find some old fecal matter here... going to look there for Pieste Dung.
