They seem to be listed in the "Freelance" area of the DAT files, I haven't seen any personally but they smell Campaign mob/ally to me.Originally Posted by Shiriokumo
Well the Limbus Boss at the end of NW Apollyon is named Kaiser Behemoth...
Really? Since when?Originally Posted by Doleman
EDIT: It is kinda weird they used Kaiser Behemoth. You think they'd rename it something... A little more... Original? But then again.......
iirc, isn't there a mob in temenos called Doggvdegg?
looks like it's an ultima crate pop NM. interesting.Originally Posted by LD

Commander of the Bloodwing Horde, an Orcish army sworn into the service of the Shadow Lord. Also known as "Kingslayer Doggvdegg."
Doggvdegg is said to have risen from the ranks of the common soldiers, but little is known of his origins. His notoriety began in 851, when Doggvdegg single-handedly slew King Grantieul R d'Oraguille and his retinue of ten bodyguards during a royal hunt. (The name of Doggvdegg became public knowledge after an Eastern San d'Orian dissident was arrested for planning the assassination, and forced to reveal the full details of the crime.)
In 858, Doggvdegg acted as a captain in the Bloodwing Horde during the Orcs' clash with the armies of the Shadow Lord (the War of Savages). The Orcish forces were defeated, and Doggvdegg was incarcerated in the dungeons of Castle Zvahl for an entire year after slaughtering over three hundred demons on the field of battle. When his imprisonment ended, he was returned to the Bloodwing Horde--now the Orcish arm of the Shadow Lord's army--and was eventually promoted to the position of commander.
In the year 862--the beginning of the Crystal War--the "Kingslayer" lured the San d'Orian Royal Knights into the forest and decimated their ranks with devastating ambush tactics (the Battle of Jugner). He followed up on this victory by invading Ronfaure and laying siege to the capital for a period lasting three weeks.
Doggvdegg was a gigantic Orc, and his appearance on the field, often on a bugard mount, would be accompanied by a characteristic tremor that would echo all the way to the chateau, terrifying the citizens of San d'Oria on a nightly basis.
He was also known to have commanded the Bloodwing Horde during battles fought in Valkurm, Gustaberg, and Batallia. However, Doggvdegg disappeared from the history pages after the conflict in Xarcabard, where it is said he defeated the San d'Orian general Phillieulais in single combat. (Beastmen records concur with this account.)
While people remember Doggvdegg as a vicious and cunning monster, the Orcs revere his memory as a merciful and just warrior--a hero among soldiers.
I think they most likely accompany the beastmen if they attain the highest levels of morale and whatever else it takes to gain turrets and things. Seems like no one has seen any of the new status dependent features yet.
I saw one of the statues the other day in Passhow when looking for my shitty SCH af stuff. It was a little bit away from the tower and a goblin or something was attacking it and it warped out.
Someone on my LS just said there's a Kaiser Behemoth in Grauberg [S] right now...
Died just before I warped in. I did get a screenshot before it despawned, however... seems it died pretty quick.
Caught one in Jugner just now. It was bout 50% when I saw it and It got mauled by one of the NPCs. Didn't last long at all and saw no meteor. It has Blaze spikes which do upwards of 40-50 damage a hit. My PLD got hurt fairly bad from using Joy on it. Also Thunderbolt didn't hurt much but the stun effect lasted a fairly long time. Like I said it didn't live long enough for me to notice much. Shadowfang had just died when it showed up. Not sure if that means anything.
Ludwig, Maximilion, Alehied, and Elivera wrecked this thing unforanetly ; ;
pretty cool seeing this run around in bastok lol
My screenshot program crashed without me noticing it, so I didn't get any pictures, but tonight on Midgar he visited Grauberg_S.
I solo'd one down to 55% before their army retreated and it warped. I was 66blm/33whm. I just kept spamming tier 3 spells then it would always use its ranged thunder attack that removes hate and it would start attacking the wall again.
They seem pretty dumb.
Quick, get a couple of taru BLM and kite it around the lake! :D
Just got whipped by this in Grauburg.
Meteor did 1179 to me and 3k to my Puppet. ._.; just summoned it.
These things are boring and weak, but if they can meteor I guess that makes things interesting.
