Counter and Damage spikes

Did they finally fix this? I fought two imps, both of which had blaze spikes cast from the beginning, and my HP did not drop ~10 as usual from any one of my counterattacks.

Did a mage drauger too. I waited for spikes to cast before engaging. No damage from ice spikes, but I was paralyzed the whole time so I can't say if the added effect of spikes still procs on a counter.

I think they may have, I noticed the same thing just recently on Imps.

But like you I didn't attempt to test or know with any certainty.

Wait, counterattacks used to trigger spikes?

Yes, but wouldn't display in the log. You would occasionally be stunned or paralyzed from countering a mob with spikes up.
