Cave Antlion pop in Tiamat's area?

So uh...

I just claimed Tiamat out in the middle of his area (no where near any cracks etc.) and a Cave Antlion ambushed me from under the ground seconds after I claimed. So either there's a pop out in the middle of Tiamat's area I didn't know existed, or something screwy happened.

We had a WHM standing near one of the cracks, so maybe it's possible there was some strange draw-in glitch. Has this ever happened to anyone else before?

Edit : just ran out to the same spot and got it again. Guess it's either a new pop or i simply didn't know about it.

There is an antlion pop there, it rotates around to 3-4 pops around his spawn. Can pop next to the poison plant, down by the bones at the bottom of the hill, and a couple other places.

That's good to know. When i've claimed her in the past I've always thought that there was no chance I'd get ambushed. Perhaps this will be useful for the future.

Theres actually 2 pops there. Had them both out while killing Tia yesterday

I think you're talking about the little ditch on Tiamat's side of the big rock? Got that one a few times while claiming >_>

This is one of the possible locations where that Antlion could spawn. Other is near the center of Tiamat's pop area.
