I know there was a debate on this a while back and I can't find it. So I was wondering which was better ZSNES or SNES9x?

SNES9k with Kaillera

It's much easier to get multiplayer games going with SNES9k, unless you like to stick to strictly people you know for matchups.

does it run roms on your comp? then its doing its job. i always used zsnes and never had any problems but i think most said the other was better for save states and stability with roms.
i used both and never noticed any real differences between the two but im not a hardcore heavy ROM player either
ZNES for the HQ filters IMO. Not sure how updated SNES9x is nowadays.
The debate didn't really have any good points to choose one over the other.. lol
I like ZSNES simply for it's functionality and interface. Supereagle or w/e filters are nice as well. I believe SNES9x has those also though. They are both just as good as the other, it is just a matter of personal preference imo.
I didn't see an option to use player 3/4 controls as player 1/2 controls on SNES9x...
Or to set different control schemes for each game.
Those might not be important to some people, but they sure as hell are to me, that's why I love ZSNES.
About 10 years ago there was a big difference because one wouldn't run some games and the other wouldn't run some others (Star Ocean 1 for instance would only run on ZSNES, and I think Mario Kart wouldn't run on either one). Now they probably have that all fixed, so it's mostly a matter of which interface you prefer.
Wing Commander wont work on Zsnes sadly to this date ><
Haven't heard anything about Wing Commander not working from ZSNES documentation.
It wouldn't boot. it works on Snes9X, but the asteroids and ships are graphic glitched, so it's impossible to play unless i eject every missionOriginally Posted by Seditedi
Oh man I miss Wing Commander. It was great that they somehow made trash-talking space-cats not appear comical.
