I would probably only use it for front smash. I probably mess that up 2-4 times a match, easy.
So apparently "shake to smash" is based on which direct your character is facing rather than which direction you shake it too. This makes it really weird to say the least... basically, sometimes you'll smash right instead of left for example if you are facing the "wrong" way. That kind of ruins it.
EDIT: Scratch that, apparently I shake a little to the other direction when I do it. I don't see how it can be stable if you can only move in one direction without setting it off again.
Honestly, I cant stand the mangly GC controller, the shoulder buttons are deeper than the grand canyon between Paris Hilton legs.
The classic is great, even better with one of those nifty grips. The face buttons are on par/better than Playstations and the shoulders aren't mammoths. Just right.
It's at least worth a try if you're even just a little tired of the GC controller.
Even though "NO HEALTH ITEMS" is winning the majority vote...the majority of the voters want some kind of health items. How will you handle that?
theres also people voting who arent even going to be in it, who just dont think items should be in it <_<
Shake to smash isn't too bad when you get used to it, I need to play with it more to fine tune it, but you can smash in the direction you want. However, if you prep swing(move to left to smash to right better) before you shake the controller, you're liable to smash in the wrong direction. I have to say though, its much much harder to use with Marth and Ike than it was with Snake or Samus.
Edit: Someone mentioned they did the prep stroke on the controller. That's why it seems like its facing =p. Edit 2: Dont even need to smash it per say, just need to nudge the wiimote to the left or right, or up or down just slightly.
Why? That's retarded.Originally Posted by izembo
