Personally, I find Salvage to be extremely stressful compared to other events thanks to absurd drop rates and the fact that most of my jobs are rendered useless due to lack of gear on the upper levels. Hopefully that'll change once scholar is 75 though.

Have to agree, Salvage destroys Kings and I kinda lol@ people who still camp them or QQ over them but don't spam the fuck out of Salvage.

Drop rates suck sometimes but I just completed both Ares's and Morrigan's Body within about 10 days(when it rains, it pours) and they both blow away any King Gear. Salvage Gear is like HQ2 King/Sky gear.

I always liked kings personally, but if I were playing seriously I'd make sure I was doing Salvage at least twice a week.

I think we have to RVB for 1-2 ppl before 80% of our runs, lol. I'm always trying to get people to go but they keep putting off and it ends up being a rush to get points before runs, haha. We run like 3-4x a week too.

notrly imo. The main King gear is DRing, Ebody, Ridill, Dalmy, NHead imo. Dring is overrated imo in this era of tanking, though still a very good ring. Ridill is highly over rated, very good in certain things but absolute crap in others(Salvage bosses, etc, fck TP spam) EBody is still the best Body for WAR,DRK,BST but Ares's is pretty comparable for 2h users, is amazing for DRG and destroys lolMbody. Morrigan's destroys Dalmy(yay for mdb? or lolMP gear), Marduk is better then Dalmy as well. NHead is still pwn but it's prolly so common for people who camp Fafnir a ton it's not really a big deal and it's just a WS piece. If anyone brings up NLegs, Ares's are better, except for THF.

That leaves out Usukane which again, destroys any competition for MNK/SAM/NIN/PUP and the rest of Morrigan's which are the best pieces in each slot other then head. Skadi pieces are pretty strong for certain jobs/slots. Marduk is generally meh imo but it's solid and it's not like WHM,BRD,SMN get much from Kings since Zenith is pretty much crap other then HP down and Convert Macros.

Salvage gear really just blows away 75% of King gear imo. Sure some King gear is still solid or good but for most of it, there is something better in Salvage or there is already something better somewhere else anyways. Left out Black Belt but that can be gotten in KS99s.

Even if you don't agree that Salvage gear is better, you should at least agree it's better to do Salvage instead of sit around and QQ about bots and shit.

I will definitely agree that doing Salvage > bitching about bots in Aery, but yeah... at this point Nhead is the last thing I really need for my WS set (besides lol+1 heca), and I'd love to have both Ebody and Are's, and would use both religiously.
