Hopefully enough people did direct deposit that I'll hardly notice the mail volume increase during one of our busier days of the week. The day we sent out the IRS notices we ended up about an hour and fifteen minutes late sending mail out to about 35 different towns. I'm glad they had enough sense to break it down into chunks this time.

You know, it might be kinda smart to put that little check of yours in a safe place somewhere; if you're not actually financially at the point where you're literally saving every penny, like some of us are here. You're paying that bullshit back next year anyways, so what's the point? I guess if you'd like to make it into a surprise birthday when you have to file for taxes again, that can be fun.
