Ominous statues known as "cavernous maws" have suddenly appeared all across Vana'diel.
After passing through these mysterious portals, adventurers meet with the talkative catlike being known as Cait Sith. After accepting her request to help lessen the "tidal wave of tragedy" bearing down on Vana'diel, Altana's champions are sent directly into the chaos of the Crystal War.

Of course they will. You'll have to wait for JP midnight at least once, ensuring a day's worth of excitement! In the meantime you can wonder why they make you wait when you have time machines all over Vana'diel.

I think there's a very high chance that there won't be any new nation storyline quests in the next update.

Would be kinda nice to have it all tie together, maybe even with a blurb announcing the opening of [Insert whichever past hub town would be appropriate] soon.

Well, i'm happy they're finally adding in missions of actual consequence and substance. And it only took them since August 2007 when they began making the WotG expansion pack in earnest after the 'end' of ToAU.

I'm glad they continuing to tie the storyline with the jobs they introduced in the expansion. It gives the jobs a real purpose.

I think there's a very high chance that there won't be any new nation storyline quests in the next update.

I get this impression as well. If they do take this route, I wonder if you'd need to complete all three national storylines to proceed, or just one.
