Not 100% sure, but I thought I remember hearing something about how you can die and be countered in the same round (similar to how people have killed dune boots NM by getting countered and dieing by the NM as it dies so no drop). The log shows you dieing and then getting countered. Since you're dead the counter did 0 damage?

You punched twice, he countered both, but by the time you'd took the dmg from the first counter, you'd died and SE didn't ever consider that situation, so instead of disregarding it, you took 0 dmg from the second counter because you were a corpse already?

I was the one that the dune boots thigie happened to, but even it hit for some sort of dmg. Weird.

Edit: Above post makes sense. I guess its the same way as why i can't break 200 dmg in gustaburg with asuran. Dies before i can do the other hits.

Yep, happened to me a lot of time but in other way. Kill them with a counter, counter the 2nd attack of their round but for 0.
Prolly would be fun to finish Charybdis that way or a Kclub oponent in ballista. 8 counters, 7 0s (need hella luck to counter 8 in a row, but whatever, u see the point ).
