Sorta excited. With how shitty the first "act" of season 2 was I'm not sure how this part is going to play out.
Claire isn't hot enough to justify for how much shit she drags the series through. Plus, waaaaayy too much makeup.
I agree, we are in need of a return to first season form, in both acting and writing. Needs more epic episodes and less soap opera.
The reason why this season wasn't as good was because there was too much story and not enough action... and the story was more about OMG TWIST REVEALED and less about developing already-established characters. They really need to step it up in this season... like not making Peter such a dumbass... or making Hiro a little more aggressive... as it is, there hasn't been any real development of any character in the show so far with the exception of Nathan, HRG, and to a smaller extent, Hiro.
So... is this series good enough for me to rent the first 2 and watch them?

They need less qq'ing (Claire, Nikki, Maya) over mundane shit that no one wants to watch and more Hiro/Sylar.
I definetaly want to see more of Hiro being aggressive, because somehow he has to become a badass like the future Hiro, maybe Hiro could be one of the newer villains of this season but then turns out to be a good guy at the end when Ando is killed, thus putting us further into that future that Hiro went into(withotu the virus?)
I think it would be pretty pointless if the show ends up going anywhere near the direction that the 'future' showed us. Then again, I'm not exactly a fan of time travel. A badass Hiro would be cool, but ultimately Hiro can stay the way he is and just be less of a complete and absolute pussy and fight properly. Of course, if they made some fight scenes worth watching this would be great.
We won't get emo Hiro unless Ando dies.Originally Posted by Elcura

It really seems like they don't want to show the heroes fighting, can't realistically add fights without messing up the story, or just don't know how to make worthwhile fights. They set up the story for a huge climax, and then just let us down with a "to be continued" type ending.
I really don't think they will be able to make this third season better than the first, I hope they somehow do, but I won't have high hopes for this season while I watch it.
Heroes really dropped the fucking ball last season, and Lost picked up that ball and Chaos Dunked any kind of hope it has to top it, into oblivion.
