Can King Arthro Despawn if not killed?

Sooo.... dont kill me but it was early as hell, and no one was at KA but me and a random blm. The blm killed all the knight crabs, and then warped lol. KA spawned, agrod me, so i played with him for a bit and died far enough to RR, when i was unweak i went running over to see where he went and he was gone, had been checking the zone often for ppl that would be killing him, and no one was in jugner at all that could kill, and no one ran past. Depop?

Yes KA does depop if you leave it alone for too long, as for it repopping I never saw it repop, depop presumed it was killed cause I waited around before and it never repopped, maybe just me
