Looking for a good quality microphone

Basically topic. I've gone through 3 in the past year, the wires seem to like to pop off and break.

I don't need, nor really want, a headset with it, though I wouldn't be against having one.

If at all possible, USB would be nice, but not absolutely necessary.

while it does have a headset attached I've had two http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6826106070 in the last 5 years and am highly content with both the headset sound quality and the voice clarity over vent/TS/voip
