PC crashing when accessing certain areas

Tried searching around, couldn't find much info that seems similar, but anyways...

My friend and I just built him a new PC and this weird problem just started appearing out of no where lately. Whenever he zones into port jeuno, the pc crashes. The screen goes blank and loses signal, I can't alt+tab out or anything. It wasn't always like this, but it's starting to spread to different areas it seems (like bastok). We tried re-installing and updating video card drivers. Not sure why a specific zone would crash the whole PC, or maybe just the video. He has a similar setup to mine and I have no problems whatsoever. I am stumped and can't figure this out, so hopefully someone from here can :D Any help would be appreciated. I can get more info at request.

Windows Vista 32bit
ATI HD3870 with latest drivers
amd dualcore 5600
2gig ram
asus mobo (forgot which model)

Try setting all vid card options to their lowest and see if it still happens. Also, what ISP do you use? Might want to try reinstalling network drivers too.
