Does anyone know how to corrupt a dat to become invisible?

A friend of mine a while ago said he corrupted a dat of his, and he became invisible. He's long since quit the game, but anytime he wore a robe (the one with the hood), that person would become completely invisible (not the semi transparent mode).

I want this for screenshot purposes, because first person view sucks assholes for getting a nice angle. If anyone knows how to screw up a dat to do that, or even if there's a plugin that just doesn't render your character (but keeps the bounding box so you can move it around your invisible "Self"), please let me know! Thanks.

I didn't really look at the dats because I had no idea which ones were messed up, but it was duelist's tabard and valour surcoat that were affected for me (amongst some other messed up files like Zi'Tah that would crash my game). I had to reinstall, haha

happens when you fuck up swapping gear. For example swap a feet piece with a body piece. The feet will be at the bottom still leaving no body. Ect ect

A long-ass time ago, I think on KI, a guy posted about how he made his videos, by having a DAT swap that made him invisible, so one existed out there at some point, at least. Don't know where to get it, if it still works, though.

I have no idea what I did, though I suspect I managed to install the WoTG map package incorrectly, but I could not see any of the new mobs, period. No sandworms, no bee-eating fuckers, nothing. Everything else with the expansion worked fine and without any problem, campaign... OH WAIT THAT'S IT.

Still though, I never figured out what the hell happened. It was only the new mobs. Took a full delete and reinstall of XI to fix it though. I'd tried reinstalling WoTG and letting it re-update to no avail. Reinstalling the whole thing fixed it.
