    I'm sitting at 3 Para and 3 Slow, I haven't decided what to pour the last points in. I'm not big on support so I'll save my points and skip Phalanx, that's what we have SCHs for and their Phalanxga buff anyway, right? I might go 5 and 5 or toss the remaining points in Bio. I just love crippling mobs so I may have to skip out on Bio. :/

    Has anyone used this method to see if Earth Shot on Slow II allows the 400/1024 cap to be exceeded and if so by how much?

    why the giant necro?

    and afaik QD doesn't work on merited (tier2) enfeebles.

    What are Battlefield and Carnage Elegy at?

    I remember reading once that Carnage Elegy is 50%, 52 with a +1 Horn.

    Battlefield is 25%, Carnage is 49.something, and the horn only adds duration, but I may be wrong.

    I don't know Ice Shot sure seems to work on my Para 2's

    Any reference to where you got this info? I've never heard of that before.

    I don't have the pvp points to test this. Could anyone try a quick test /w the recast on a spell like Reraise? Slow II + Reraise vs Slow II + Earth Shot + Reraise.

    Personally I have Phalanx II at level 5. One of the main places I use RDM in a group these days is Dynamis, and I'm often in the tank party if so. Makes sense for me.

    Meriting up Phalanx II to 5 also makes it very nice for soloing and small group stuff. I don't have an Enhancing earring, but I do have the rest of the gear listed for 301 skill. The spells at that point are equal with -28 damage, but Phalanx II has a longer duration.
    It also hits 27 damage with less skill from gear than Phalanx does. 'course, that's only true at level 5, which to me makes it somewhat appealing to take that far.

    Right now I have things as 5x Phalanx II 3x Slow II and 2x Paralyze II. The testing with Slow II, to me, seems to say that 1, 3, or 5 are the best bets. Paralyze II has seemed flaky to me, but perhaps higher levels will be more consistent.
    I merited the same exact way for group 2. I was going to drop Paralyze 2 for 5/5 Slow 2 a while back but I found it redundant as it is possible to reach higher tiers of Slow 2 with the appropriate gear. Paralyze 2 surprises me frequently with freak procs, especially on things that swing very fast, take Dekka for example. Overall though I think 3/5 Slow 2 is best, and there is no choice as whether to do 5/5 Phalanx 2 or not especially if you're in the tank party and/or Salvaging constantly. Fireballs that do 0 from Tiamat is also a sexy thing! Not to point out the obvious but less damage taken = less hate lost from a tank. 5/5 Phalanx 2 or AT LEAST 4/5 is worth the trouble of meriting it imo. It's a godsend really.
