Casting Time: Almost Instant (About as fast as Flash)
Duration: 60 seconds
Recast: 2:37 w/ Homam Cosciales and RDM sub (Estimated 3 minute recast without any haste)

*Reflects half of the damage the user takes after shield block reduction is calculated (Little resistance if any)
<Mob> hits <Player> for 11 points of damage.
<Player>'s spikes deal 6 points of damage to <Mob>.

*Reprisal gets calculated before any and all forms of damage reduction.
Meaning if you have Phalanx and Stoneskin up, you take 0, but it still takes half of what you would have taken without Phalanx and Stoneskin.
<Mob> hits <Player> for 0 points of damage.
<Player>'s spikes deal 6 points of damage to <Mob>.

Only tested on Easy Prey mobs so far, but with reprisal was very significant amount of shield blocks.
Against Lesser Colibri; 89/100 hits blocked under effect of Reprisal, with 318 Shield skill

Hundred Fists + Sentinel = Mob self destructs now?

If sentinel works in the same way with the mob taking 1/2 of it's initial full damage, that would add up very very quickly.

Could there be a 'X Damage taken' limit such as the 1k DMG for Dread Spikes?

If there is any limit like that I wouldn't believe it to be that high for obvious reasons tho.

PLD in my ls who was able to get on, says it seems to only effect melee hits. Hes fighting fafnir right now and says they are doing about 30dmg per block.

Might be because you can only shield melee hits (& associated TP moves.), and Fafnir doesn't have any physical TP move.

Your right. In the OP he said Magic data incoming. So I thought I would share the little magic data I have heard about.

Lasky was talking about the mob resisting shield spikes damages or not. (i.e. 30 spikes for a 80 shield proc hit.)
