When you got down there, did Serket aggro right away, or did you have a chance to prep/look around? Seeing as you have 60 min to kill a buffed Serket, I would think there is more then just Serket down there. Possibly something else to kill.

Seems possible that they all might have a trick. The knight crabs probably spawn with king artho and that seems like a tell to me.

We had plenty of room to walk around without him being near enough to aggro. The map shows this area as being quite big but one member ran around Serket and found a wall blocking off the Eastern area.


I wouldn't expect anything more than Serket to be involved in this fight unless another mob spawns right on top once Serket dies, but we'll know soon enough once it dies.

Upon inspecting the area we noticed that we were blocked off even though the map continued, and there was no option to exit the arena. Serket does not start off in aggro state immediately, and I do not know if his hate becomes party/alliance wide or if he acts normally. Mimiru checked his widescan and was only able to see the one Serket, but it's still a possibility that there is more to the battle than just Serket. We prepped and tried to come up with some sort of strategy that didn't involve a central tank, but no dice. He dismantled us rather quick and caught us off guard with a lot of the new things he can do. This Serket is really a step up in difficulty and if he has more abilities, whether they be TP attacks or a Two Hour, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Good luck to all on finding out more, hopefully your sole tank won't get glitched out of the arena. ><

edit: he joined us and after feeding him some tp we got swallowed into Everbloom hollow, found KA. Its very resistant to DMG and it keeps popping knight crabs.

What happens to the Sandworm after you get swallowed? Is it still up? If so, does it go unclaimed and can be claimed by others? If so, can others be pulled in to the area, maybe as a new instance? What happens if it is killed while it has people inside?

Its pretty much like the raged version of normal KA. I came late there and and sandworm shows up on scan with 0% HP after the swallowing.

20 min of fighting and PLD/RDM (accident because of rush) RDM RDM WHM RNG got it down to 98% >_> Gravity + kite method. Normal ranged hits do 1 dmg and the same goes for spells, crit hits do ~40 dmg.

edit: it has regen, just went back to 99%
edit2: nvm that was a knight crab casting water IV on KA (lol?) and that cured him.
