Where to obtain Alexandrite - Please post experiences!

My Salvage group did Silver Sea Remnants today, we obtained 4 Alexandrite (Screenshot not available).

The path we took:

Hammerblow
Powderkeg
GGears
CC

With TH4, we dropped 3 killing the gears in the GGears room (none from Rampart), and 1 dropped from killing the Gear Train on the CC floor.

Would be cool to see what other people's experiences are, and possibly workout what sort of drop rate we're looking at, someone in my Salvage group suggested the drop rate is similar to Card drop rates.

Got 4 in Bhaflau Remnants.

2 from the 4f gears (we only killed 3, beat the boss anyways =P). 1 from the triple gears for rampart on 3f. And 1 from the 1f rampart.

Roz Relics require ~18000 single, if you get an average of 200 coin per dyna, it takes ~90 run to collect all the coins needed

Toa Relics require 50000 alexand , if you get an average of 5 per salvage, it ll take ~10 000 motha fuck'n run to collect all the coins needed

Unless there's a way to get more Alexandrite easily (unlikely, there aren't items in-game to correspond to higher denominations), maybe this is just SE's idea of throwing a bone to the gil-buyers who think they'll be getting ToAU relics. "See, you can still get it by buying stuff, it'll just take ~500m-1b gil and a few years!"

Meanwhile, the people who don't rely on gil for everything are getting them en masse through the other paths.

Problem is, there is no trace of a 100, 1k, or 10k value alexandrite items in the .dats.

I'm more inclined to think you won't need 50000 in the end.

Got 2 in Bhaflau Remnants last night, like Tyrath. dropped off of the gears that nerf Homing Missile on 4F. Haven't done much else yet, like Nyzul, etc.
