No.
Already fused the Daisoujou, and ended up doing a hax enough sacrifice fusion that he got all his spells on level up. Such a pain to get the skills I wanted inherited, but I think he ended up with.. Mahamaon, Dekunda, Dekaja, Prayer, Preach, Tarukaja, Makatora and Meditate. Had the potential to get Fog Breath and War Cry on him, but left the latter on the main for now.
I still have one more Death Stone. What skills should I try to get on Matador?
Also eyeing a Sati. Heard she evolves into Parvati, and either of those have always been nice to me. Need to pump out a few more levels on the main so I can sacrifice fuse.
I'm also going to hop on the DD bandwagon soon, since I think it's finally dropping to $40 on Black Friday.
Finished FF3 for the ds. Moved onto Tactics Ogre for psp. I have found that I spend about as much time crafting gear upgrades as I do actually progressing through the story.
Decided to take another jab at Arc Rise Fantasia, but this time the undubbed version. Though I've reached the part that makes me both happy and sad. Playing it on emulator, and enjoying the crisp graphics.
Spoiler: show
Jesus christ.
That game looks gorgeous on emu. So tempted to play it, but not sure how well Dolphin would do on the lapotp. Had questionable performance on the desktop, but might've been an issue of settings.
Started XIII-2. Enjoying it a lot more than XIII-1 so far, although I'm not sure I feel about the whole disconnect between locations due to the nature of the story. At least the devs didn't make the same stupid mistake like they did with the first game where all your battle encounters were a complete waste of time (no XP gain) until after you got access to the Crystarium.
Also dicking about in MK9 on the Vita. Looks like a high-end PS2 game in motion, since the devs dropped the texture quality, the polygon count, and removed the bumpmapping compared to the 360/PS3 version to maintain 60fps with the Unreal engine (only Vita game that uses it so far?). Is a non-issue for me though, as the game packs a fuckton of content. Thinking of getting UMVC3 for it eventually if I can find a copy for $20 somewhere. This genre is great for on-the-go play.
utterly addicted to Xenoblade once again. must... complete... timed quests... before moving on!
kinda sucks playing it on the Wii, though. I want my computer back goddamn was this game gorgeous in HD.
Alright what the fuck, after finally starting up Armored Core V after it's sat on my shelf for awhile, I find that this is the most bullshit robots game imaginable. I thought I could trust FromSoft.
Is For Answer just like AC4 and by that I mean awesome? Because if that's terrible too I'm just going to give up and die.
that's funny, I was just reading old issues of GameInformer (it's good bathroom material) and they were saying how horrid ACV is. sorry to hear it.
How many pages are the GameInformer mags anyhow? I could use some video readin material, and the subscription price is real cheap.
Also, this is going to be a productive week...
Seems SEGA bothered going the extra mile with the Vita port. Has image import options as well as camera support. Going to draw me something in Photoshop to use later.
Most recent was a little over a hundred pages. I hardly ever read them but I just keep getting them, I think it's like comfort material from being 12 and being excited about a new PSN.
they're not long but they're free with a Gamestop membership. $15 membership + 10% discount on used games = if you buy more than $150 worth of used games per year, there's no reason not to do it.
Game Informer is one of the few magazines left that are getting exclusives. A good chunk of exclusive story breaks (that aren't leaked) go to GI for their cover stories as they are one of the few publications that can still afford to pay to get them. The design change about a year ago was needed and quite good I thought. Reviews are so so and they are only partially in line with my own gaming tastes, but as Yuri says, it is pretty much a no brainer pack in for the discounts and deals that come with the Pro Membership.
bought this tower defense RPG game offa steam called Defenders Quest. It's pretty easy and the story is facepalm but it's addicting and fun. There's a demo too so if anyone wants to give it a go, I'd suggest it.
edit: oh of course the day after I buy it, the game goes 50% off. blarg
Finally got the chance to play Motorstorm: Apocalypse and it's crazier than I thought it would be. I just don't understand the point in perks, loadouts, and levels in a racing game online.
I replayed Dragon Warrior last week. >.> Catching up on my console backlog too so starting Dead Space 2 tonight.
like... Dragon Warrior for the NES?
