Laptop screen flickering? please help!

hey, i have a laptop that is not even 6 months and just recently my display will turn off for like 1 second and then come back on, it happens atleast once every half hour. does anyone have this problem or know a fix for this? please help :]]

Sounds like you have a loose wire or something. My friend's laptop does the same thing. He just gives it a good whack and problem solved. >>

but the laptop is brand new XD don't you think it could be bad files? im debating if i should reformat or not lol.

The hard drive would rarely if ever cause the screen to flicker like that. Like the above poster said, it's likely that a wire is loose or the screen's connection to the motherboard is coming off. If you don't feel comfortable enough to open it up and reseat everything yourself, take it to someone who does.
