    HP 3915 on windows xp

ok well i installed firefox and after the restart and deleting shitty internet explorer the computer pops up it found new hardware. the printer that was already installed, HP 3915. at first it said something about the RPC not working, which in services it was. so i uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it and the software. now it recognize's the printer but the HP software wont finish installation saying "invalid parameter". the printer is listed as my printer now but it keeps popping up as found new hardware. tried to print something and it just sits in cue. this is really annoying and any input would be helpful.

Also when i turn the printer off and on it pops up "new hardware found"

First of all, you can't delete internet explorer, it's tied to the operating system kernel meaning you can't get rid of it.

As for the printer, delete it from the list, delete the drivers, and start from scratch.

tried that. theres no communication between the printer and the computer even though its installed. the services are started and its all plugged in. the reason i said i tried to delete IE was because maybe that was linked to the random loss of printer which up until i added firefox and tried to get rid of IE was working fine
