Note about new forums 7/5 (Updated)

That's a configurable option in vBulletin. It's set that way by default for performance reasons, but it can remember every thread you've visited.

Is this an admin option or something I can set in my CP?

New posts don't bump an older topic up on the list. Kind of hard to read a new post if it hidden on page 3 of some forum section. Anyway to change this on on our end? Fuck subscribing thing.

Not seeing this behavior on my end. Make sure your timezone is set properly in your CP.

Jesus, I changed to IE7 today and I thought it broke something >.> Login wasnt working, but the reseter worked.

Bleh @ avatars on top of the posts instead of right beside it. Can any skins change that, or is a vb must thing? More effort to scroll now vb is the devil. PHP ftw.
Edit: Oh God, ugly smilies! and damn, lost ava and sig, is there a way that the old forums can still be accessed by normal users?

vB sets it this way as the default, but it can be changed. (And for the love of all, I hope at least one of the skins gets changed to be like that...)

Edit: On the note of smilies, yes, vB 3 smilies are hideous. The older vB ones are still the best, though.

whats up with the code limit? i think its set to 6-8 codes before everything else gets cut off.

i just tried to post an interview with full features and it got cut off before the interview had even started.

Nope, my inbox is filled from messages sent from me, and my sentbox is full of those same messages, but sent by '0'.

Is there a way to change the way number of pages are displayed on the forum layout? Like the old way was

xxx topic
pages 1,2.....34,35

but now it only shows the first 3 pages then a "last page" option. Is there a way to go back to the old style im not seeing? or is that gone?
