Sorry that this isn't supposed to go here (not sure where), but holy god I'm trying to get my PW reset and I've been on hold for 43 minutes with a chick with a JPN accent saying the same damn hold message over and over, with shitty CoP fight music going on giving me nightmares about the 27 times I lost the airship battle.

Plus I've been waiting in a chat room for someone for the same amount of time.

Is this par for the course? Did I call the wrong #? Do I have any other options?

Shhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit this sucks.

Try using their online chat service, they can reset passwords over that too. Equally long wait but at least you don't have to listen to the wait music and messages.

EDIT: Nvm didn't read your message to the end. But yeah, both chat service and phone took me about 2hrs to get through the first time. After that I've only been using the chat.

Personally, the one thing that irks me the most about SE's customer service is that they can't even be bothered to get a toll-free number to help people. Not everyone can afford hefty long-distance charges, and not everyone can use a cellphone to call, as we all know cell phones have horrible reception in some places.

It's so stupid, they're called by people throughout the country, yet 99% of them have to dial long distance.
