    Best Fantasy Football Website

I'm starting a small Fantasy football league among my friends who are novices to intermediates. We are all local so we'll be doing an inhouse draft but I was wondering. Where is the best (free / paid whatever) website for Fantasy Football tracking. We have flexibility after using Fanball last year and not liking it.

Anyone know of a good comparison website or your own recommendations?

my friends and i have been using cbs sportsline for the last few years and its probably my favorite of the many ive used. yahoo, espn, and sandbox arent bad either and i believe both yahoo and espn are free.

Yahoo was great, until they started charging for real-time stat update.

Yeah. CBS and ESPN are good. ESPN I know for a fact is free with real-time stuff. Yahoo was fun for a while, but then they started charging for Stat tracker. =[ I hope to join a few leagues this year.

Yahoo!'s interface is really nice and easy to use, both as a player and commissioner. Stat-tracker is pay-to-use, but it doesn't bother me not having it, since I have a separate window with the needed boxscores open. >_>; ESPN does have the real-time stat tracker, but I really didn't like its interface or scoring system.

Shue, who do you have winning the EPL this year? :O

I personally think that Yahoo is fantastic for people just starting out. The interface is very easy to use and they rankings they have help a lot of people who have never done fantasy football before. But if you want more bells and whistles I would say CBS is probably better. I found it incredibly annoying using their website and I won't sign up for another CBS league again.

I would have won the league last year if it wasn't for Mike Nolan making the worst coaching call ever known Instead I had to watch my team (which was auto-drafted!) rack up a stupid amount of points during the playoff rounds, but not participating. All the while the league playoff teams scraped by. I will destroy this year.

I'll put up a thread in a couple of weeks, I think there's about to be a huge transfer flurry, so I'll decide after that.

Christ, are you still bitter about this? Holy cow, let it go, man.

I like Yahoo's interface and setup a lot personally but I can't do FFL without the live stat tracker. It's only 5 or 10$ though so if you are doing multiple yahoo leagues it is worth it I think.

Aw man, don't think of it that way. The "B" league was still hella fun.

We should do another IDP league with Tyr too.

The guys i work with do NFL.com and while it costs money it's a great site. very easy to use, instantly updated stats while the games are in progress and a lot of news/draft information etc..

    everything you'd need.

From what I remember my brother showing me, I believe live stat tracking is free on NFL.com. I'd have to double-check.
