"Occasionally Attacks Twice" is part of the "Aftermath" of these weapons, so it's only active for a small amount of time after the quested WS is used based on TP... so it probably isn't that broken.
So is "Aftermath" just concerning the new WS's, or "Aftermath" means after the WS (any ws)?
I think "Aftermath" is granted after the new relic WS is used with the weapon equipped.
After the WS. -- But I'm not sure if it means "Only if used with this Nyzul Weapon" or if it means "Used with any Weapon of same category"
Why would you bother using anything else on PUP than a 6 fold attack ijdk.
They said to get the "Aftermath" bonus, you definitely need the nyzul weapon equipped.
Based on what we know about the Perdu weapons, is it possible that the Aftermath bonuses from Nyzul relics are in effect during the relic WS?
Do relic weapons get their buff mid-WS or after?
Is the Occasionally Attacks Twice always active or only during aftermath?
Now i c why in the old wotg trailer from TGS or E3, the new weaponskills were being used by players who didn't even have the relics...very nice strategy SE, had everyone speculating so long about the actual happenings in the trailer. Anyways though, im glad we can use the new WS with or without the final form of the relics.
It works as designed. For starters, Shogun Rice Balls are the HQ of a T1 synth (like HQing a cerb mantle) - not the easiest things to come by. Then you need a party with a COR and a WAR in it for any reasonable amount of Fighter's Roll success. Then you need to actually have the 2 (now 3, with Nobushi Kyahan, haven't tested) pieces of armor that enhance the rice balls. Then you need to have enough support magic and/or Third Eye merits to safely sub /war.
Add it all up, it's rare that you get to experience the fun of it. It's certainly not something you'd get to use at bird camp, or something you'd want to use on an HNM.
I don't consider it broken.
"Players will also be able to acquire new weaponskills with the relic weapons, and the new skills will be usable even without the relic weapon being equipped."
"Also.... and this is big news... the new weaponskills will be obtainable without upgrading a Nyzul Isle relic weapon."
i'm not sure if i read and understood this correctly. so we dont need to upgrade a nyzul isle relic weapon right. but do we need the stage1 nyzul isle relic in order to acquire the new weapon skill?
SE: "The Nyzul relic weapons are not designed to be the most hard-hitting weapons in the game"
"Occasionally Attacks Twice"
SE makes me laugh.
