Dynamis and Limbus Get a Makeover! (08/04/2008)

At first look, I didnt like the COR AF simply because it wasnt the Luzaf armor. But after you look at it more, it really isnt that bad. The Blue body does jump at you at first but really, its a nice shade of blue.

Also, I dont know why, but I dont really like COR af on female evlaan. Just looks weird.

Hmm... so that's what I'll look like in PUP AFv2. I find it quite funny that they used my character model for it, same hair too. XD

Being the only PUP in my Dynamis shell, I should be able to get the set relatively quickly unless Xarcabard screws me over since I severely doubt SE implemented new NMs for the three new jobs.

On another note, I'm surprised nobody is QQing over SE not adding DNC and SCH AFv2.

Well considering SCH and DNC 'just came out'. We're getting our merits so that's good enough for now .

Not that I'm complaining about their ultimate decision, but I don't understand why they didn't just avoid such a massive orgy of plot hole, and just implement materials into Dynamis. Explaining why one needs a certain something or other that happened to have been lost long ago to fix a piece of gear is a lot easier than explaining why their armor is just popping up in Dynamis <_<

Waoud: I've come across an antique set of armor from many years passed, it looks like it was once quite formidable attire. Unfortunately, time has taken its toll, and it appears as if it would take rare materials to repair the stitching in this archaic fabric.

Agreed. COR AF+1 Tricorne could be awesome, seeing as the regular AF Hat is already an endgame-quality piece for both Quick Draw and Slug Shot.

With 5 towers already with 3 Royals at each tower; if they did add DNC and SCH to this update as well, they wouldn't have to change anything, but rather just add one demon to each tower to round out all 20 jobs. Or still add one to each tower now, and add that last two in later when they put in SCH and DNC. This to me seems like the most logical thing to do.

His logic is that you will see lots of retards with good pieces like Valor surcoat, Duelists Cheapu, etc. However, his argument is flawed because there's plenty of terrible/retarded players with these already while experienced players/people good at their jobs sit and wait months and months (even years) for that one good piece.

As someone in this thread already said, dynamis drops are luck, not skill. Even clearing a whole zone may not get you that piece you want, while some other shell might get it on their first mob.
