Dynamis and Limbus Get a Makeover! (08/04/2008)

The limbus price cut is a shocker, and totally unnecessary. But I can't complain about the half-price relics. Interesting how vague they were in their wording about the fact that toau af2 will be acquired via drops in dynamis, without completely convincing you that the actual armor itself will drop.

Also, fuck the cor relic. Why oh why couldn't they use Luzaf's armor ; ;

I think they mean that all dynamis armor will have increased drop rates.

Sounds like it's just like regular jobs' AF and AF2.

Limbus give AF+1 items, Dynamis give AF2 and Dreamlands give AF2-1.

Half price dynamis means someone sponsoring a run can get the same amount of currency for half the price. The drop rate phrasing is a good indicator that current rates are equal for all jobs (despite what we may think) and that new and old jobs will both have the same rate when they up the overall drop rate.

Notreally as while there might be half the entrance fee, people also "work" for the currency nowadays. For many LS City runs grew to something hated. I don´t think you will see currency sold and bought at half the current price. I would estimate the pricedrop being around the 30% mark.

I'll just say it. I doubt the drop rate increase will put an end to the 'my piece [still] hasn't dropped' or the 'I'm 1 billionth in line for my piece' slog. Ease it? Definitely, but as long as BST AF exists....
