Just finished watching Oldboy, absolutely amazing. To anyone who is a fan of someone like Quintin Tarintino, you need to go and watch the Vengeance Triology, one of the best sets of movies ever. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Vengeance_Trilogy
I do love Lost in Translation. It is, by far, Bill Murray's best performance in a film, even more so than his role in The Life Aquatic. Plus, Lost in Translation has a soundtrack that was partially composed and compiled by the French band Air, and I love them.
<-- Is totally not a chick, even though the above statements would indicate otherwise.
Ahhh Jean Reno, and a itty bitty Natalie Portman... good movie, also watch Wasabi for more Jean Reno goodness.
The Professional is fucking awesome, for sure.
I saw Evil Dead 2 lately, it was funny, but don't watch it in a theater with a bunch of hardcore fans at midnight if you're not a hardcore fan yourself. That was a fucking annoying experience.
I'd recommend that anyone who still hasn't seen Pan's Labyrinth watch that shit asap. Incredible movie.
Also, if you like comedic fantasy films like The Princess Bride, then Stardust is a must-see. Or if you just want to see Michelle Pfeiffer looking the hottest she has over her entire career, another good reason to watch it.
Yeah, these are old movies, I don't get out much lol.
"My name is Iñigo Montoya, you killed my father... prepare to die!"
Love that movie!
I see your Princess Bride and I raise you a Robin Hood: Men in Tights
I really wasn't expecting to like Stardust when I saw it in theaters, but it was very enjoyable. I feel as though making a Fable-based movie would be redundant because Stardust has already been made.
Also, if you like Jean Reno go out and rent or download Porco Rosso and watch it with French dub and English subs. Jean Reno voices Porco, to which Miyazaki even prefers him over the original Japanese voice actor. It's a great movie regardless of what language you watch it in, and my personal favourite of Miyazaki's lengthy career.
Currently watching Gomorrah and it's pretty damn good so far. Very unromantic and bleak, with a few touches of black and bizarre humour.

Okay so I saw this extremely weird movie the other night. It in a sense was about a bunch of people trapped in some sort of cube maze where every wall had a hole in it. They start trying to find a way out and run into traps, other people, and even themselves. Anybody recognize it? I'd like to know the name.
I believe it is called Cube. There is 3 of them, and they are all enjoyable.
Wrong thread, but umm, Pan's Labyrinth.
