Watching The Defiant Ones today after seeing all of you talk it up. The montage in episode 3 set to "The Beautiful People" was fucking awesome. Man early/mid 90s music was so damn lit.

Edit : ah yeah talking about the Up In Smoke tour, damn that was a great show.

I'm already a sucker for prison movies but boy was I about Jaime Lannister going from wallstreeter to tough convict. Plus Jon Bernthal as a member of the Aryan Brotherhood is just such a natural casting, that guy rules.

If you liked Newsroom from Aaron Sorkin you will probably love it.

it for sure is a lot like if Aaron Sorkin was good instead of terrible

real talk tho Chayefsky's analysis of the effects technology and modernization were having on human interaction (sadly a topic that is no longer relevant) is some of the headiest thought ever put to celluloid and the acting is absolutely incredible top to bottom. one of my all time favorites.
