The entire plot of the Hitman's Bodyguard hinges on Skype not being allowed in the ICC. Otherwise pretty good. I'd like to see Reynolds and Jackson work together again with a better vehicle.

Lady Bird was really good. As someone who graduated in class of 2002 (or maybe 03?) myself this movie spoke to me. I too wanted nothing more than to move away from my boring hometown to someplace better (in my mind, the west coast - now that I live here, mehhhh I'd rather go back to Ohio) and the relationship Lady Bird has with her parents and siblings is just so realistic. The atmosphere and feeling of that time period was nailed completely, there's a good reason this movie is rated the highest of any movie on RT ever. Also funny story, only 4 theaters in my area were playing this movie at all, and only 3 of those took Moviepass. Despite going to a tiny-ass theater on a Tuesday at 12:15PM, the showing was packed. Gooo seee iiiit.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Just go see it. It's hard to give a good complete description without giving away too much. But largely dark comedy/drama. Lots of swearing and crudity and even a cunt punt so don't bring the kids

saw that a few days ago too, great stuff. by the McDonagh bro who did In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths. very Irish sensibilities, a comedy driven by tragedy. Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell are brilliant. 5/5 cunt punts juxtaposed with raging existential despair on lonesome Missouri landscapes.

It sucked. Constantly took you out of the story with too-cute-by-half musical long take fuckery. Weird script dead ends, a final villain that isn't even a main part of the story, it was a lot of the worst features of "written and directed by" movies.

Are you mad at the dancing/coffee run during the opening credits? The music and sounds were brilliantly matched to the action on screen and enhanced every major sequence. Spacey not being the final boss was a nice surprise.
