Yeah I watched The Protector after Ong-Bak and I'd have to say I like Ong-Bak a lot better, I felt like the fight scenes in the protector were very underwhelming and only done for the sake of being cool (Breaking 40 mother fucker's limbs in record time).
Also, did anyone like The Prestige, I thought it was a very good movie and had my mind saying "wtf" when I saw the ending.
Yep, loved The Prestige, a lot better than the Illusionist which came out around the same time. The storytelling is just so superb that I can watch it over and over even though I know the ending :3
If you liked Ong-Bak check out Chocolate, staring Yanin Ivsmistnanda who some people call the female Tony Ja. The story is she's an autistic girl who uses that to learn how to fight, kinda like Heroes... that one chick that can learn by seeing >.>

That looks really good lol gonna have to check that out soon
Chocolate is a absolute must if you are into that kind of stuff.
Here's a really funny and one of those good awful action movies. It's from Korea and was so popular there that the biggest theatre chains in the big super-mall areas subtitled it into English for the English speaking military and ex-pats.

The 5th Element is one of the best worst movies out there. it's so cheesy but so good. I fucking love that drag queen thing, Ruby I think it was called? too fucking funny.
last good movie I saw was, of course, Paranormal Activity.
other than that, I bought Pan's Labyrinth (favorite movie of all-time) and Stardust (much better the first time I saw it, sadly).
Watched "Up" with the wife and kids yesterday. Probably my 2nd favorite disney movie ever. It was amazing. The first 10 minutes are what Academy awards are made of.
Just watched the 'Chocolate' trailer. That looks absolutely, utterly, wonderfuly amazing! I love martial arts flicks! I'm totally downloading that.
Ong-bak was awesome if you can deal with watching every stunt 3 times in slow-mo from different angles, lol. I actually rather enjoyed Ong-bak II even though it had absolutely nothing to do with the first one. Reminded me vaguely of Apocalypto (though nowhere near as good).
BTW, in some versions of Ong-Bak, the subbers don't translate George's Thai name (Humlae). The reason the girl makes fun of him for it is because it supposedly means "Dirty Balls" in Thai. I can't blame him for going by George...
We watched it dubbed lol. Gonna watch Chocolate this weekend prolly, along with Katt Williams Pimpadelic :D
That trailer makes me not interested in seeing Choclate at all.
She's a special needs girl with a special need to kick ass
Finally got to see Zombieland. Great flick.
Just watched The Mist.... fucking ending was insane. Decent overall movie would probably watch again
The Science of sleep.
If you like Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind you'll love this movie.

One of the best indie films I've seen in a long time. Weird as hell, but makes complete sense at the same time.
