Yes, it's about that time of year.

Three weeks from today are the first games, including the Oregon State @ Stanford game that no one except me cares about.

First, this game is free. There is no prize except bragging rights, no cost except time.

College Pick 'Em allows you to pick 10 games each week, and rank them in confidence. If you get your "10" confidence pick game right, you get 10 points, 9 you get 9 points, so on and so forth, for a max of 55 points / week. I believe last year only one person got 55 points one week. Last year, this game went every week up except the very last week of the season (conference championship games). The drawback of this game is that you do have to remember to go in and make picks every week to win the title.

I couldn't find last year's results, but I know Ryany came in first and I was second. No idea who was after that...

If you don't have an ESPN log in already, you'll have to create one. Yes, we'll probably learn your first name unless you feel like making something up (I recommend naming yourself Mike Hunt).

Once past that step, you can Join a Group. Search for the name BlueGartr, it should be the only group that pops up. This contest is certainly open to anyone (no limit on group size). But PLEASE NAME YOUR TEAM SOMETHING THAT INCORPORATES YOUR LOG IN NAME ON BG so we know who to give shit to.

New this year is an ability to have a group logo, and I couldn't quickly find an easily linkable BG logo, so I just stole a Duelist's Chapeau logo off of FFXIah because, well, I'm a RDM. If anyone can point me in the direction of a small size BG logo, I will see if I can substitute that.

10 is your highest confidence, and the number of points you will get if you are right.

Yeah, these two and the Ok St - Wash St game are causing me to scratch my head. I'll take a look at Vegas' spread for these games before they start, that's for sure.

Sweet, I'm in. Good to see this back in play for me. I used to play this years back but my friends all hated doing the confidence points and working with the game spreads so they all stopped playing lol.

Edit: No spread and confidence? Boo! That's what makes this more entertaining instead of just picking who'll win. Actually gotta put thought into it with spread. Voting for use of that lol.

I picked Clemson vs the Tide but I also hope Wilson grows some nuts. He made me mad quite a bit last year, I hope they get it together I miss Alabama being a powerhouse.
