I really don't understand what the fuck SE is thinking. Or maybe they're just NOT thinking. I don't think anyone is going to think an 18 hour battle is fun.
ATTENTION SE/SUNDI and ANY OTHER SE EMPLOYEE: This is a fucking GAME, assholes. Games are supposed to be FUN. Sitting in a chair for 18 goddamn hours button mashing is NOT FUN. I like a challenge, but jesus penis you people are fucking out of control. The best part? Your idiotic random system that even after a fight that long could result in *drum roll* AN ICE CRYSTAL, or NOTHING. If you're going to make a fight last 5-6 hours (which would and should be the absolute upper limit on a decent LS tackling the biggest and baddest HNMs in the game), then it damn well better drop almost everything in its loot table. Don't fucking jerk us around. This game is old, and you want to piss off the people who allow you to go home with a paycheck, making outrageous fights that might not drop anything is a a good way to do it.
Don't get me wrong, SE has done a great job lately with cleaning up RMT and addressing a myriad of other issues, but for fuck's sake, why do something incredibly retarded like an intentional 18 hour fight? Is it to make up for all the stuff players appreciate? Sort of to balance out the good by adding some bad?
