Thread: Tzee Xicu the Manifest     submit to reddit submit to twitter

    Tzee Xicu the Manifest

Of the three beastman lords, she seems to be the least discussed. Would anyone happen to have any basic information on her? I assume the spawn conditions are identical to the others, with a 21-24 hour placeholder that has a chance to spawn as Tzee herself after a certain number of days.

    Key things I'm inquiring about:

    -Attack speed?

-Susceptible to what, if any debuffs?

-Is its elemental based on the day, and is it sleepable?

-Is its Astral Flow based on the day, and is it particularly powerful?

    -Approximate HP?

-Is it possible to fight it in its spawn point without links?

Any and all information would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi there,

i fought it like 10 times , here is my experience with it.

    -Attack speed?
    Can be double nin tanked

-Susceptible to what, if any debuffs?
I dont know ,try slow para blind the usual.

-Is its elemental based on the day, and is it sleepable?
its sleepable , but wont lower the astral flow dmg.

-Is its Astral Flow based on the day, and is it particularly powerful?
Its astral flow is badass get ready for multiple deaths or wipe.

    -Approximate HP?
    i dont know

-Is it possible to fight it in its spawn point without links?
    NO, he takes too long.
clear the path to the dropdown trapdoor.
then pull it all the way down in the tunnel,
its better to be able to reraise after astral flow.
Last time i fought it was 4 years ago, 12 person 45 minutes fight.
Have 1 ninja stay out of alliance far away so he can hold until you recover from astral.

Another thing worth noting is that it has En-Paralyze.

Other than that, just fight it with a normal party and as long as you make it past Astral Flow, you should have it easily.

AF is random. It hits hard, but still survivable for most. If Tzee uses Carb though, expect quite a few deaths.

He can be NIN solo tanked as long as Slow and Elegy is on. The most important thing is he has NO double attack trait - making him very predictable. But since he is a high level summoner he has many RESIST SLOW traits which can sometimes make SLOW (and Elegy?) a bitch to land.

I've solo tanked her as Pld/Nin. So it doesn't have to be just a Ninja tank. The En-Paralyze effect is irritating as fuck. Astral Flow isn't horrid in my experience. It's painful, but if you're out there with a smart group you'll be fine. It's the people that panic right after it happens that cause a wipe.

It's not really possible to fight in her spawn point since the two other NM's spawn there every 15 minutes. It's possible to kill her quickly but why take the risk. Safest thing to do is take a Thief to sac pull her back to the hallway.

    Thanks guys, really informative.

If possible, is there anyone who has fought her that could compare her attack speed to some other monster's?

And the lack of DA is beautiful information.

Oh, and can anyone else confirm indefinitely that the elemental is based on the day? That makes a big difference, thanks.

Thing is a joke to tank tbh. Done this with 6 people plenty of times. Did it with MNK,SAM,NIN,BRD,2BLM a couple times with no problems at all. Obviously HAste makes it easier but we did fine without it. Astral Flow did jack to us as well, we expected some problems with such light healing but I have never even seen someone die from Astral is the 10+ times I fought her. Just keep HP up and mages with Stoneskin.

    -Attack speed?
    Standard 240 delay

-Susceptible to what, if any debuffs?
All, though it resists slow because of trait

-Is its elemental based on the day, and is it sleepable?
No and yes, it also has jack shit HP(will die to 2-3 tier 3 nukes) and does not repop.

-Is its Astral Flow based on the day, and is it particularly powerful?
    No and no.

    -Approximate HP?
A fuck of a lot. A nin meleeing in full DD gear whenever elegy was on with march minuet songs and berserk takes 90 minutes to 2 hours to drop it. I would estimate around 40k.

-Is it possible to fight it in its spawn point without links?
No, the only safe place to fight is if you sac pull it to the spot below the dropdown.

It's been soloed by RDM before and isn't the least bit challenging, just boring. I've duoed it with NIN + a gimp brd dualbox, and again it wasn't challenging but took forever. I would wager that NIN/DNC can solo it, but hell if I'm wasting 3-4 hours on it myself >_>

You're talking to the guy who obsessed about soloing genbu on mnk with just chi blast at level 65 or so. He's dumb enough to spend a week kiting a mob.

    This covers most of it.

Astral Flow isn't that big a deal, out of the 20ish times I've fought it only killed people like 5 times of the 20 fights(1-2 people dead).

NIN NIN THF BRD RDM is THE perfect setup for this (lowman).
The NIN and THF arent needed to win but it will certainly make things easier and safer. NIN BRD RDM can win this but it would take very very very long. With NIN X2 THF BRD RDM it'll take you about an hr.

Well, Tzee has a dickload of DEF, so maybe it doesn't have a lot of HP?

  15. #15

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm well aware tsuko is a moron, his LJ said getting despot to 68%(or something like that) 'isnt bad for a blm' and his posts about vivian make him seem like a utterly terrible RDM. I was just trying to give helpful information since it's the newbie forum

It has a mix of both, like any other strong boss it has high def and evasion making it look alot stronger than it actually is.

  17. #17

Thanks for the information Thorny, especially the bit about the elemental not repopping. One last question, though; I've heard he's pretty evasive, is that true? Just so I know whether or not it would be at all worthwhile to bring the Ceremonial.

Read the post above you about the evasive part.

Ah, must have loaded right before mine. Didn't see that, thanks.
