Maat's Cap on NPC?

not able to test this just yet, but I know certain items, like Mannequin Pumps, if worn when you call your NPC or talk to it at the Rendesvouz Point, will equip them on your NPC

I'm curious if this works for when Maat's Cap is equipped, I'm guessing no, but it seems a fun possibility. I'm 12 levels away from Cap (RDM54 gogo!) and my NPC is currently 66, no idea if that is taken into account, Mannequin Pumps are level 35 however -- in any case, just wondering if geno or ravenlokk or anyone else wouldnt mind testing this for me

Congrats on getting close Howard lol, as for your question I am not sure. I used to have a friend with Maat's cap and he and I would level npcs but I never saw it on his adventure fren. Then again this was when I was still on Pandy at the time, whether it is a possibility now is beyond me.

It would be cool nonetheless.

Not so hard especially with really good gear. I bet him in two tries at 67. RDM Maat is hard yet overrated.

and yeah I'll try at 66 but if I fail I won't waste any further gil on maat fight supplies, I'll just take it to 70

I do have 8/8 ele and 4/8 enfeeb (will be 8/8 before entry) so I'll give it a go at 66

I did Maat at 66 also like a year ago for the Cap. Wasen't really that hard from how I was told. But I guess as mentioned before gear does matter.

oh, thank you for the test of the maat's cap, maybe the rendesvouz point part is wrong, I can't recall what I did but my NPC is stuck wearing red shows and I'm pretty sure I didn't get those enchantment sneak event item shoes which I believe are also red

it may be when calling NPC (may have to do full pearl like any other equipment upgrade?) I don't know, ah well, 7 more levels to go, I'll tinker around with it, it probably won't work but o well, woulda been cool

Could be the Lv2 Windurst feet? (Trader's/Baron's armor) Try spending 8k fellow points on a feet upgrade and see if it turns into Seer's.

it definitely isn't, I recently accidentally reset all my gear on NPC by selecting the wrong option, and feet stayed while everything defaulted to the first section of the windurst (or beast controlled, I forget, some of it was chocobo riding gear) controlled area gear
