There is no higher purpose for melee oriented gear than giving it to a bard. Take Hecatomb, for example.

I've seen him AFK in Rolanberry with better gear than that. >.> He's got Dusk Gloves +1 and Uni. Boots +1 that I know of, but I've never seen him fight anything, so maybe you're right!

Panazawa isn't a friend of mine, but that gear you caught Panazawa in isn't what he uses. He pretty much crafted all of his HQ gear as well, has speed belt, and has very good gear for all of his jobs. Don't hate on the guy because they're more resourceful than you.

You obviously haven't seen him using his Bravura out in the field. Otherwise you would realize just about everything you see there he actually uses.

I can only hope your joking? Linsivi is the BRD your talking about and he was prob playing around with this new BRD WS. He has War and Sam for that Mars, Ridill Adaberk as well.
