Prince of Persia (the new one)

I haven't seen anyone bring this game up, so I figured I'd throw it out.

It's another reboot, new protagonist new setting etc etc.

Graphics in the game are absolutely amazing. The gameplay is supposed to follow the same basic style from the more recent games, but with the addition of a partner following you throughout the game, and having team up moves together. Also supposed to be non-linear (the game uses the engine from Assassin's Creed), and just be more or less open world.

I'm in. in that third picture, if that background is in fact other usable areas of the map, and not just a general backsplash, that would be pretti incredible for the scale of it.

persian guy with american accent is the only thing that bothers me so far about this game

although wall running in this series never seemed weird until i just saw that 2nd pic lol

I don't think it's really cell-shaded technically, but those hard black lines around the character models is what gives it that effect. Kinda cool looking though, reminds me of Wild Arms 3.

Im really excited for this title it looks like is going to be alot of fun. If some of you have listened to the Ubi Soft team present the game a multiple locations, they said the art direction was inspired by making the game look exactly like the art the game was based upon. Its not cell shaded at all.

So apparently you can't die in this game. EVER. The girl always saves you. Kind of defeats the purpose a little? Especially in a game like this.

Yeah you cant die, Ellica always brings u back to life if your killed and if you fall she grabs you and takes u back to the prior safey platform before you jump.

What strikes me is...his expression. Or lack thereof. I mean, there he is hanging on a wall, but going by his face (well, hers too) he might as well have just walked into Menswear at his local JC Penney. Maybe that's something they're still working on.
