Model tweaking is done, something still is missing from the texturing, particularly around the hilt... not sure what though. Any suggestions?

Would suggest trying to get some kind of sheen on all of the metal (blade, guard, pommel) and the grip and secondary blade grip could probably benefit from some kind of leathering. Maybe even a darkening of the grip color while lightening the gold, itself. Depending on what you come up with, can suggest further tweaks from there.
You should make the ricasso and the hilt match. The tape-like wrapping on the handle looks bad. Here's a similar real-life example with a more finished look:

You could actually make your blade gold to match the guard and pommel; it's a fantasy game.
I see your point. I'll match the crosspiece material to the pommel and blade, and use a leather texture for the secondary and primary grip.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I like that style of sword a lot, which is why I bought one of those Cold Steel greatswords.

Updated with leather grips, iron fittings and cooler (more blue) blade color, thoughts now? The white bits around the blade edges is a model viewer thing and isn't present in game.
Since you're genuinely looking for critiques, something about it is bugging the hell out of me. I don't know why, maybe the flat color on the majority of the blade, but it has a real 2-D appearance in these screens. I hope that helps, I don't mean to offend at all, that's just my honest opinion so far.
Here's the issue.

The blade itself is made up of a lot of polygons. Like, way too many. To compensate for this, I doubled the pattern up, back, and forth. I could fix this by using a fixed pattern, but I'd lose a good amount of control over the actual pattern itself... it's a difficult decision to make.
TY :D
One more request... how do I find out where original dats are? like a list of them or so...
I wanted to switch my Hades Sainti to Kenkonken, and Waghs Baghnakhs to Glanzfaust
Model viewer
I did a little modification to Hagun. I planned on making it look like the blade was made of crystal, but I haven't learned how to make textures glossy/reflective yet. I really love how the new colors came out. I also reshaped the end, and made the blade thinner as well.

Translucency isn't possible on armor, weapons, or faces for that matter. All you can do is make something really shiny when hit by light at the right angle, or make some parts transparent. The excessive shininess and the transparency are mutually exclusive.
Looks more like a knockoff of Ichigo's sword from bleach.
Someone else told me the same, but I didn't even know that til I googled it. I dont watch that show.
