We'll begin by first correcting this blemish on the original texture by copying and pasting the group of six pixels immediately to its left.
And here's the result!
Next we want to mask off a portion of the fuller in order to correct it a bit.
We'll then use the rubber stamp tool and some manual correction to fill in the gaps.
After this, the inlaid bits are masked off in preparation for the next step. The smaller one on the upper-right didn't take, so we'll unmask that and do it later.
The next step is finding a model with the colors you want. In this case, I chose Adaman Cuirass and Rune Chopper. We then mask the selected portions and then crop them (without saving).
Next we go into the Image > Adjustments menu and select Match Color.
For each segment, we mask the appropriate part of the texture and choose the correct source. Since the jeweled bit on the hilt suffered from being done at the same time as the fuller, those were performed as two separate actions.
This brings us to here.
Still doesn't look quite right, so adjustments to Brightness and Contrast and Saturation are performed.
