as far as your question, i think he may, but i wouldn't count on it. i don't think there has been one event in Dexter that i could see before it unfolded. everything has suprised me thus far, so i'm not gonna predict what happens

You see for me it is the opposite. I love the show but almost everything that happens seems to be TO predictable.
But this one thing has me questioning the direction they are going. Hopefully I am wrong and they actually turn the show around and make some shocking events as I heard there were supposed to be some shocking revelations this season. Just hope they start coming soon.

the preview was Miguel is trying to convice Dexter to kill the lawyer defending the Chicki Heinz case. that woman, i think her name is Ellen Wolf. Miguel is telling Dexter she's trying to ruin his career and Dexter's dilemma is that she doesn't fit the code, but he still wants to help Miguel, since he's his "friend"

What a great episode, I agree, it's predictable to a point, but only in the short term. Overall, it's hard to predict where the show is going, but moment by moment you can kinda tell what Dexter is going to do. Mainly because we see so much into his character and thought process, which is why it's easier to read Dexter than anyone else.

I loved the bit at the end with the pie, amazing music, script and camera work - especially the close up shots.

There were youtube videos of it in 8 parts that were synced correctly. Annoying because it is in 8 parts, but still beats the hell out of watching it out of sync.
