I will personally fly to wherever the moron who thought "wow, great idea!" and personally beat his face in and burn his house down.
they said they 'lowered the price' in the update notes. I'm hoping they can still be sold.
One of the first things I checked, they sell for like 480g in Whitegate. I don't know about somewhere I have more fame, but it won't be much more than 500g I'm sure.
No clue what they sold for pre update, and I didn't actually try to sell them, just check the price to sell.
Pre-update was ~3200 per after seems to be ~500 per sale price.
Good fucking going SE.
500 is better than nothing. A major loss, but I've been sitting on eight stacks of the stuff for way too long. (Did one level of it on Alchemy mule as a bridge.)
Back to npcing holy waters I suppose.....
Rusty Caps: The Second Coming
poor alchemists
This was so unnecessary. Why does SE do these things?
That's true, but it was such good money if you just bought the mistletoes, and amazing if you took the time to farm them.
They changed it because if its a super easy no brainer way to make money... its almost a guarantee that there are 1000 RMT doing it making boat loads to sell
Apparently SE is wanting the Bastokian Blight to return. The steady stream of Remedies was all that was holding back that plague.
I feel bad for the alchemists but in the past, I've had to camp the AH in order to actually obtain a stack of these. Maybe now they'll be more readily available for sale?
They may have been hard to come by on the AH but there were plenty of Treants to farm, especially in the ToAU areas. Not that I used farming mistletoe/npcing remedies as a main source of income but it was a very nice additional source of gil. Especially after days where you blow something expensive up crafting.
I don't see the point behind this. Sure, RMT are doing it, but they do everything almost. They'll move on and now its just one less way for legit players to earn good gil, from the farming and crafting side of it. Personally, I didn't care what RMT were doing with mistletoe/remedies. It didn't effect me, until now.
