After Infinite Undiscovery, I'm on the fence about this... I'll wait to see some comments from people who have beaten it before deciding whether not it's worth buying.

I'll probably end up renting it regardless though.

People have been saying there's slowdown on some of the bigger battles but that video looks atrocious. Anyone actually picked this up yet? I've spent way too much on games lately but this looks like it could be alot of fun.

Wow that video did not help me make a decision at all. I don't know WHAT to think now. On one hand it doesn't look that bad, looks fairly interesting and unique enough. On the other... the framerate problems in that video really make me think i might go insane playing it.

Guess i will just wait a bit longer to decide, not like i don't have quite enough on my gaming plate already -.-

Looks very bad... even if the lag is just an early build issue, I'm really not impressed with the overall design of the gameplay and how each attack slows down before it hits the enemy..

Since it IS a jRPG and i'm a jRPG consumer whore, I'll rent it eventually.. but after the disappointment that IU was, I'm not really expecting anything spectacular until White Knight/FF13.

Curious about the reviews for the game, it looks "meh" but its been hyped for a while. SE needs to stop putting out all this random crap, DS/PSP games, ect... and get to work on the real KH3 and finish up FF13. These important games are taking too long

Oh i am fairly sure he liked it, yet wanted to like it much more than he ended up doing. That is how i remember his take on IU.

Did I enjoy IU? Yes... gameplay was okay, story was pretty damn good....
Am I disappointed that the game was only 20 hours long, has practically no replay value, and had an extremely cheesy ending? Hell yes.

Don't need to hate a game to think it's a disappointment. I was expecting a lot more from a Square published jRPG... especially one developed by Tri-Ace.

No replay value? Most jRPG's don't have any replay value, especially anything with Square on it, what were you expecting?

I don't really focus on Achievements personally, though it is always fun to go for some from time to time, but i do consider them to sometimes ADD replay value to RPGs/jRPGs. Sometimes there are some that are literally impossible to get with one playthrough.

Lost Odyssey for example, unless you are following a guide on your first playthrough (and how is that fun!?) you will miss a few things and playing it again for that reason can be fun to some.
