Nyzul Isle Emergency Maintenance

might be that random black out shit that keeps happening. When you finish up in nyzul isle (same with alexander mission) sometimes your pt will all black out and be stuck there, gotta x button your ff to get out of it.

that bug is sooo old. last nyzuls we did, we d/c all from beeing tractored and couldn't log in for another 10min: "you are still logged in". 1 min before it end, most of us got in just to get the logout bug. was a wonderful day in nyzul.

Apparently on asura some people have been unable to enter salvage/assault/nyzul isle due to errors.

Been doing Nyzul for about a year now and never had this happen lol. Guess we'll wait n see what's gonna be done about it.

were those bugs isolated to specific consoles? PC bugs? PS2 bugs? XBOX360 bugs? Either way, none of this has happened to me and we just finish scaling to 100 a third time on sunday. I'm on PC.

Speaking of bugs.
I got stuck inside Nyzul after my group exited cus I was opening a crate =\
Couldn't target the rune.
Force dc'd and logged back in and still got the win, so no big deal.

Haven't had this ever happen on my laptop, and haven't done nyzul on my ps2

Hmm, the only bug I had with Nyzul Isle was about four months ago.

As soon as we started on the first floor we entered, my keyboard completely disabled itself in FFXI. I was like, "Ok, that's odd." I had to restart FFXI and my keyboard worked in FFXI again.

About a week later, while doing Salvage, we hit the second floor in I believe Bhaflau Remnants and the keyboard, again, went completely unresponsive.

I've tested my keyboard in another computer and it works fine. As usual, I'd have to restart FFXI just for the keyboard to work.

Those were the only two instances that happened where the keyboard went unresponsive in that zone.

Hopefully they fixed that.

Also, that black out error in Nyzul Isle happened to my friend last night. As soon as he beat floor 100, screen went black on him. He had to force shutdown FFXI and restart again. :/

Plus, I'd expect maintenence would be on lower jeuno since that's where the quest is given.

Hopefully they'll address the queuing effect- tried to do nyzul the other day, and it was like Dragon's-Ruins, with over 120 people standing at the door trying to get in... but I'd at least be happy if they fix the black screen issue.

Been seeing a lot of mobs (in particular flans) taking shortcuts through walls and closed doors since the big update, so maybe they are addressing that.

Last night, in Nyzul Isle i got charmed then immediately uncharmed but could not engage for around 30sec with "you can not perform that action". So maybe they're fixing that too >_>

And here was me thinking it's because every run for the last week, every NM we've killed has dropped a Quicksilver.

We've gotten 17 Quicksilvers.
