Same thing, I once changed all the W turban .dat files to Big black bahamut wings while in DA with 100 people. NOTHING is worse than forgetting everyone else changes and seeing DA FILLED with hundereds of wings.

Changed the dat of Trump crown to wings. I macro in Trump Crown for my Waltz. The half naked Elvaan is wearing Hauby which I changed into a shirtless dat to screw with my bf. >.>; If it was something full time I couldn't handle it either.

My laptop is kinda weird with that...it can run multiple sessions of FFXI easily without bogging down, but if I try to use DrawDistance settings of 3.0 or greater or improve the resolution beyond what I already have it slows down a shit-ton...I don't know a lot about computers but I had though running multiple sessions with medium settings at the same time would be a bit more taxing on it than trying to run 1 on high settings.

I can dual or triple box without breaking a sweat on mine if the settings are turned down, but if I have it on my normal settings and try to to dual box it gets slower, annoying but still usable.

Thing is, my laptop didn't pass the bench when I tried it...But I downloaded the trail version to test it out myself and it worked so I installed the collection. I've tried messing with the windower and FFXI config but I don't see any actual noticeable changes. So I just leave it as is majority of the time. Windower came with Drawdistance but no idea how to activate it. *shrug*

then //DrawDistance set # in order to change the settings. It's probably already active and set to 1.0 if it's in your init

Yea its in the file thing. I'll probably mess with it again later tonight. Although, compared to playing on my PS2 playing on my lappy is hell of a improvement graphics wise. xP
